Springfield is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Springfield follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food is magnificent! Plus I took a 92 year old there for her birthday and told someone who helped me carry my tray due to recent surgery. Next thing I knew the entire restaurant and staff was singing happy birthday to her. What a memory! Great people all around.

This locally owned restaurant was incredible and completely unexpected!!! Homemade noodles in the soup, excellent customer service and an Americano as smooth as silk!!! They made us feel welcome 🤗 and the food was so good I had to order more to take home 🏠

It's been a while since I last had Cafe Moxo. Probably a few years prior to the unfortunate fire that caused them to shift to a new location. However, I came back to Springfield for a visit and gave them a try - and it was absolutely worth the wait. I had their Fall Over soup -- chicken stock, homemade sausage, sweet potato and pear. Even my 3-year-old said it was one of her favorite soups she's ever had! I also tried the Aloha sandwich - toasted pretzel roll, Korean BBQ pulled pork, pineapple chutney, mixed greens, and tomatoes. Both of these sweet and savory dishes were incredible, and I'll likely stop by for lunch again before we head home next week. Aside from the food, this new location has much more space and brings a new energy with it. Many of us have nostalgia for the former location, but I like this one as well. I definitely recommend you to check it out!

Today is my second visit and I just barely made the 10:30am breakfast cutoff. The owner or manager was kind enough to let me order breakfast. I got a made to order breakfast burrito with eggs and cheese. Was pleased to see it came with white flavorful cheese sauce mmmm. It had black beans and corn inside as well. A very generous and tasty portion. The nice touch was the side of fresh seasonal berries. My first visit here I missed breakfast but I got the Heather Feather plant-based burger which is amazing. This is a clean, pleasant cafe with very friendly staff. A nice place for a quick bite and some good iced tea.

I like the new location even better than the previous one downtown. There is a lot more space to sit and enjoy your meal. The menu has something for everyone. I had the gobble-gobble (turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun) and my wife had Ken's club (turkey sandwich on multi grain bread). Both sandwiches were very good. My pretzel bun was nice and soft piled with turkey, bacon and their cranberry cream cheese (it was so good). We will certainly go back as the menu looks to have several other items I have got to try.
